Hi I'm Dr. Christie Hydar, a Doctor of Physical Therapy who recently graduated in July 2025 and now specializes in outpatient orthopedic and sports rehabilitation at Perform Physical Therapy and Wellness. Since January 2022, I've been mentored by experienced physical therapists at Perform, developing my clinical reasoning, diagnostic skills, and treatment approach through hands-on patient care. Now as a practicing clinician, I provide one-on-one, evidence-based care that combines manual therapy techniques with performance-based strength training to help athletes and active individuals return to their sport and optimize movement. My approach integrates joint mobilizations, therapeutic interventions, and functional training using free weights, barbells, and turf-based exercises to restore mobility, build resilience, and prevent future injury.

My clinical background spans both orthopedic and neurological rehabilitation, having treated complex cases ranging from post-surgical recovery to stroke, multiple sclerosis, and traumatic brain injury during my clinical rotations at UC Davis and other facilities. This diverse experience has strengthened my ability to assess movement from multiple perspectives and develop comprehensive treatment plans tailored to each patient's goals. Whether you're recovering from injury, managing chronic pain, or looking to enhance athletic performance, I'm committed to helping you move smarter, perform better, and get back to doing what you love.
